If any State in the US passes a law Amazon does not like ,then Amazon can go and close your account overnight. I think it is about time all US residents that are making big bucks as Amazon Advertising affiliates start thinking hard about when and how they are going to move out of the USA,because otherwise they might lose it all overnight because they are at the mercy of the politicians and of mighty Amazon. That might not be too bad. They are lots of places on the planet that are safer and the cost of living is a lot lower.Another benefit. Not paying taxes to Uncle Sam ;)

Re: Awesome tip: make View Code default double click action on a WinForm control

I ordered it from amazon 1 click with my israeli visa, I had it sent to my name c/o cousin in anrica, who brought it here.

I plugged it in and it will not work, the screen is frozen, Unfortunately I dont have the original packing, which Amazon require. Does anybody have any idea what I should do. I sent them emails, they I have to call, time is running out. Kindle is a device sold exclusively by Amazon (and select electronic retailers in the US), I am not aware of any store selling it in Israel, and I think it would be much more expensive, since we all know how Israeli retailers like to inflate prices on electronics (see iDigital). It's much cheaper to order it yourself via Amazon directly.

Re: Kindle in Israel – Frequently Asked Questions

Can't I buy a Kindle "over the counter" in Israel as I did in the US? But it can still help you to solve something you didn't grok yet. I used unit tests the first time I implemented an AVL Tree. And it was very helpful, cause every case I wrote, I broke the others. Ok, I was learning and the tests help me to not only finish the problem, but also that I was probably solving it the wrong order.
